Management Toolsets
We have created The TRANSFORMATION Pathway. You can find it in The TRANSFORMATION Workbook, just click on the link below.
The Pathway will help you, whatever organisation you work for, to improve your change and project management performance. It can do this because it clearly sets out a new idea about how to set out your change path, whilst simultaneously linking it to traditional project management practice. In particular, it outlines how you can change using two new and innovative Toolsets:
The Workbook explains how to use the Toolsets and the benefits they bring. Too many organisations rush to implementation and change then fails. Our focus is on improving the concept and definition phases of the project management life cycle. We have supporting case studies giving the evidence of performance improvement – your return on investment (ROI) in terms of the time taken to use the Toolsets and our impact in supporting you.
Below we present a highlight of what each Toolset includes. The full version will be discussed on request. Please contact Dr. Michael JR Butler.
Overview: The Receptivity for Change Toolset
Overview: The Actor Analysis Toolset
Actor analysis provides a detailed summary of the human and non-human actors involved in the proposed project or change. This is our novel contribution to traditional stakeholder analysis – we go beyond focusing on human stakeholders by including every organisational process. We do this because we all know that systems (e.g. HRM, IT or quality process documentation) can enable and inhibit change just as much as people. The analysis culminates in the generation of an ‘Actor Interaction Current State Map’. It creates knowledge of actors, organisational structures and relationships.
The Next Steps to Transformation
The use of The Transformation Toolsets generates the required knowledge to move the organisation or project team from the identified ‘Current Sate’ to the ‘Desired State’ thus allowing the successful implementation and completion of the project or change.
- Internal self-analysis and interpretation of The TRANSFORMATION Toolset outcomes.
- Utilising fully trained facilitators from The TRANSFORMATION Project Team to assist with the internal self-analysis and subsequent interpretation.
- Engagement of The TRANSFORMATION Project Team as independent consultants to analyse, interpret, report and recommend proposals for a successful project or change implementation. If necessary, The TRANSFORMATION Project Team can provide highly experienced change agents to manage the project or change through the final two phases of Implementation and Completion.
